PIPS revision
Science comes first. Maths is about turning a strong grade into a 9.
Science: make a list of every topic and rate each one red, amber or green. Start each day with a red one.
Blurting: close your notes, write everything you remember about a topic, then check and fill the gaps in a different colour.
Past paper questions beat rereading notes. Always mark them with the mark scheme and learn the exact wording it wants.
Science extras: learn the equations and units, and go over the required practicals. They come up a lot.
Maths for a 9: skip what you already know. Do timed papers and spend most of the time on the last few hardest questions.
Keep a mistakes list. Every question you get wrong goes on it. Redo them at the end of the week.
Phone rules
No Shorts. YouTube app deleted. Watch full videos on purpose in the browser only.
App limit on FC Mobile: around 45 min a day.
Phone in another room for homework, class prep and the last 30 minutes before bed.
Notifications off for FC Mobile and YouTube.
Decide before you start: "3 matches" or "20 minutes", never "a bit".
Phone charges outside the bedroom. Alarm across the room so you have to get up.
Active
Your calisthenics and abs workout. Active on Monday, football or Active on Friday, plus jujitsu every weekend. That's 4 training days, with rest days in between.
Warm up (5 min): jumping jacks, arm circles, leg swings.
Push-ups: 3 sets, stop 2 reps before failure. Too hard? Do them on a table or bed edge.
Bodyweight squats: 3 × 15.
Rows: 3 × 8 under a sturdy table. If you have a pull-up bar, do slow pull-up negatives instead.
Lunges: 3 × 10 each leg.
Abs: plank 3 × 30 sec, dead bugs 3 × 10, lying leg raises 3 × 10.
Add a rep or a few seconds each week. Slow progress is how you get strong.
Good form over more reps. Stop if anything hurts (sore is fine, sharp pain isn't).
Abs show from your overall body, not just ab work. Eat well, get enough protein and sleep.
